Oriental Coleslaw Recipe

ORIENTAL COLESLAW

SLAW:
2 - 1# bags of cole slaw or broccoli slaw (or similar amounts of shredded cabbage, red cabbage, carrots, broccoli, etc.)
1 bunch of green onions (optional)

CRUNCHIES:
2 pkgs. Ramen noodles, broken up (Oriental flavor – or 1 Oriental and 1 Chicken)
4 oz. pkg. almond slivers
4 oz. pkg. sunflower seeds (shelled)

DRESSING:
2 pkgs. Ramen noodle seasoning (from crunchies)
1/3 c. cider vinegar or rice wine vinegar
½ c. sugar (more or less to taste)
½ c. oil

Combine salad ingredients separate from dressing ingredients. Toss salad with crunchies and dressing right before serving.

2nd Annual ST.U.B. (St. Uncle Bob) Fish Fry - March 27th

March 27th at 7:00pm at mom's house.

Tickets are:
$7 without goofy shirt,
$5 with goofy shirt (best value)
Kids under 5 are free

We're having cod filets, fries, coleslaw, and some other stuff I haven't quite decided on. Maybe toast???

I will be frying and cooking at Eddies right before I bring it to mom's for this dinner, so please plan on 7:00 pm sharp for the freshest fish and the coldest beers.


Also, as a side note, the karaoke system that Rob used at mom's 70th birthday party at Eddie's is now in my possession. We will follow up after dinner in the basement room where I have a "PA system" setup for karaoke and more beers/beverages/good times. Come prepared to rock!
